The Evensong Quintet was created in the fall of 2003 on the campus of Central Michigan University, and has developed itself into a group that is renowned for its vibrant and energetic performances. The Quintet has performed repertoire of all styles, and continues to obtain only the highest level of performance and practice.

The Evensong Quintet has appeared at numerous events, including OPUS, woodwind area rectials, and Honors recitals offered in the School of Music at Central Michigan University. The Quintet is also devoted to promoting music education in public schools by presenting workshops around the Mid-Michigan area to elementary schools, and always looks to provide an educational performance in correspondance with concert programs.

Members of the Evensong Quintet currently include: Heather May, flute; Wanda Thibodeaux, oboe; Lisa Dunn, clarinet; Geoffrey Bourdon, French horn; Jillian Turner, bassoon.

April 21st: Music performance and instrument demonstration at Pullen Elementary School, Mt. Pleasant, MI 4:30-5:30PM

May 5th: Music Performance and instrument demonstratoin at Midland Elementary Schools, Midland, MI times TBA

MARCH 19th, 3:00PM: Alumni Band Concert. Performing Mvts IV and V of Hindemith's Kleine Kammermusik.

MARCH 27th, 11:00AM: National Association of Schools of Music Concert, Staples Family Concert Hall, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
